El Norteño nació con una idea sencilla pero poderosa: llevar a Mexicali el auténtico sabor del norte, ese que se comparte alrededor de una mesa con familia, amigos y buena música. Desde nuestros inicios, supimos que no queríamos ser “un lugar más de comida”; queríamos crear un espacio donde cada visita se sintiera como volver a casa.

Lo que comenzó como un pequeño concepto de cocina norteña se transformó en una experiencia completa de sabor, mixología y convivencia. Con el tiempo, fuimos perfeccionando nuestras recetas, mezclando tradición con creatividad para dar vida a platillos de fusión norteña, tacos con carácter propio y bebidas que cuentan historias en cada sorbo.

Seeking potential investors and pitching the restaurant concept to secure necessary funding for the venture.
1981 - 1982
Fund Collection
Engaging in fundraising activities such as presenting the business plan to investors, banks, or crowdfunding platforms.
1983- 1985
Construction
Acquiring the location, obtaining permits, and overseeing the construction and interior design of the restaurant space.
1986 - 2020
Operation
Hiring staff, sourcing ingredients, conducting a soft opening, and officially launching the restaurant for daily operations.
